Newport - A fund has been set up to help a family whose home was damaged by fire in Newport Friday.
Fire crews believe a wood pellet burner in a window sparked the fire on Water Street.
Pets were rescued.
The side of the house was scorched but there's minimal damage inside.
A benefit fund has been set up in the owner's name.
The money will help her pay for damage to her home and medical expenses for her pets.
